1. Open up your image in a photo editing application (i.e Photoshop Creative Suite or
Photoshop Elements), select the cropping tool from the tool bar. Set the cropping
dimensions to a width of 862 pixels with a height of 602 pixels at a resolution value
of 300 dpi, then drag out and position prefered crop and press return.

2. Crop your image as you want it to appear in the brochure (remembering that you
will loose a 3mm bleed area on the outer edges as this is the amount of image that
will be trimmed off during print finishing)
(If you are submitting anything other than the landscape format detailed above, the
height value must not exceed 602 pixels. Your image will appear in the brochure with
a white or light grey border left and right)
3. Rename your image. (use your surname followed by your first name as the file name,
all lower case with no spaces, ensuring that the file has a filename extension of ".jpg"
e.g. smithjohn.jpg
• Your image is now ready to upload.
