    How can I use jot form "Source Code" instead of "Embed Code" for my Shopify Site?

    Asked by w1nnar on June 20, 2012 at 06:32 PM

    Hellooo

    My jot form is cropped when I add the "embed code" to my page. When I preview the "embed code" (from the jotform site), it displays cropped also.

    Here is the code that prints cropped:

    <div>

      <div>

      <script type="text/javascript" src="https://secure.jotform.us/jsform/21714662788160"></script>

      <br />

      </div>

    <br />

    </div>

    The "source code" preview (from the jotform site) is not cropped.  However, When I add the  "source code"  to my shopify page, the form does not display at all.

    Here is the code which does not print:

    <div>

      <div>

    <script src="//max.jotfor.ms/min/g=jotform?3.0.3650" type="text/javascript"></script>

    <script type="text/javascript">

      <br />

      </div>

    <br />

    </div>

    Im a noob, obviously, but Im trying to learn.  Any assitance is appreciated.

    I love JOTFORM!!!

    I have checked your form which is actually embedded within <div> tags,  this is the current code:

    <div>   <script type="text/javascript" src="https://secure.jotform.us/jsform/21714662788160"></script>   <br /> </div>

    so I would suggest you to add  style atributes to the tag such as  width, height , etc

    Here you have an example:

    <div style="position: absolute; left: -902px; top: 204px; width: 3001px; height: 3001px; overflow: hidden;">

    <script type="text/javascript" src="https://secure.jotform.us/jsform/21714662788160"></script>

    //* PLACE either the source code or the embed code HERE

    </div>

    In your case, the main problem is related to the width of the form. so try to increase it so the form can fit into it

    Best regards
