Using Unique ID feature, includes an ID to previous submissions?

Is there a way to install this plugin and attribute an ID even to the ancient submission or does it only starts with the submissions after the plugin is installed?

Unfortunately, there is no option or plug-in to attribute an ID from a past submission, except with the use of a Unique ID submission which automatically increments every submission you receive.

You can also designate the starting number in a Unique ID, so for example you have received 100 submissions previously, and before you receive the 101st, you add the Unique ID field, you can assign it to start to 101.

However, if this is not what you mean, it would be great if  you can provide us additional details.

I think this is what I will do and attribute a starting ID after the number of submissions I already have. 

I will also do an import of manual submission that I have, during the importation to jotform, using the import app, jotform should automatically add a unique ID to those form, am I correct?

I have just tested importing submissions to a new form having Unique ID widget. I see that the import file format is not displaying the Unique ID field. So, it is not possible to add values to the Unique ID field for the existing submissions or imported submissions. However, the new submissions entered will be having the Unique ID generated normally as per the counter set. I think this should be due to the Unique ID widget is intended to work on submission of a form and having different formats of Unique ID being used by the users and starting counter number.
