When the user click on the submitt button the first time the autorespond and the notifier email seem to work fine... but the when the user click on the editlink html in the email... open the form and edit submitted information and click on submitt once again the autorespond and notifier do not  send email as supposed to... is this a bug or is it feature change made with purpose ? Please let me now as soon as possible as I have to notify my client's about this as soon as possible or build another solution for them with other tools if that is the case... And please try to test it yourselves.. It is to timeconuming to build a video to proove the case...

I will provide you a link to the form in case on request....

I ran some tests and it seems that the email auto-responder and notifications are only sent upon submission. The editing doesn't count really as a submission (it also has no impact in the submission counter), so I think this is why they are not sent.

You can share with us the form's url so we can analyse better this issue.

Let us know if we can be of more assistance.

If this is the case, you have a removed a core feature without giving any prior notice to your client's... and the oportunity to rebuild their product's with other services before the feature was removed. This was a important feature that worked perfect until you removed it. To recive a notice when a response has been changed is a feature that anyone who deal with a system like jotform understand could be very important part of the business logic... and it make me think that you could make changes and remove any feature any time without giving any notice ... I really think jotform is a deveolper friendly solution but incidents and sudden changes in your features without giving notice cost to much both in  developer  time and loss of cutomer confidence for the end users of jotform ...you have to realize that this have a impact in the value chain...and  your users may  have invested hours in devoping forms....  many have integrated embeded those on  other sites ... I beg you to  reconsider and activate the notify and autorepond  feature again when a respons is edited ... or at least give us a month to rebuild the solution with other systems before you remove this.... I don't think I am the only one to consider this change to be a huge dealbreaker !

Let me please inform you that this is not a bug, and we have not changed email alerts behavior recently.

We do not send 'edit form' Autoresponders on purpose, so that form owners can silently edit submissions for their needs. There is a workaround based on Notifiers, please check the following thread:

When a form is edited by the user how can the recipient email be resubmitted as confirmation to the user?

If you need any further assistance on this, please let us know.
