    Hi,

I am having a great time using your Jotform. And I am well happy with its overall performance and also the speedy, thorough response from the Jotform customer service.

The jotform had provided me with 99% of what i needed with a form.

    I have a question:

So far i am only able to match the name, emel and mobile no of the incoming data to google Contacts. Will I able to add a collection of extra informations into the Google Contacts notes field? So that when they call, i can simply use my android phone to view their data in the contact and not having to refer to the spreadsheet for the required information.

Just like I can control and add which fields to appear in the email in the Responder and Notifier.

So far I manually copy and paste the extra information required into the google contact note box.

    Regards,

    Lee

I have created a feature request ticket for adding the additional information to the google contacts note fields.

Would you care to be able to choose which fields should be added to the note field or should it just add all answers from the form?

    Wow. That is absolutely excellent.

Either way is ok for me. I will be able to talk to customer and referring their information on the spot with my 6 inchi HTC phone. That will really save me a great deal of time by avoiding having to refer to my laptop and improve my customer repponse time tremendously.

***This is what I meant when 1 say Jotform has a wondefrul world class customer response service. When you ask a question, the person at the Jotform end will make that extra effort to solve your problem and sometimes even at the extend of predict what should be the next level of questions (that we as a consumer haven't thought about).

    Regards,

    Lee.

Hello, Lee. You can map your form's textarea field to Google Contact's Notes field.  If you have any specific field that you'd like to be used, please do let us know.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I tried to map additional form's textarea field to Google Contact's Notes field.

I had removed the integration and start new.

However I couldn't add additional textarea field to the Google Contacts Notes field.

There isn't a choice for me to add additional textarea field to the Google Contact Notes field.

There are 12 textarea fields which I like to map to Googel Contacts Notes field. So that i can just use my android phone to refer to customer details, without having to open my laptop to refer to Google Spreadsheet.

    Please kindly advise.

    Regards,

    Lee

    Hi Lee,

I think you can only map it once per field. And there is no way to add additional notes field in the Google Contacts settings. Unfortunately, we cannot change Google's settings.

You may consider using single note field for the additional details of the customer. Maybe, a brief description.

    Thanks

    Thank you for your emel.
But i have received an email from your company saying that i am now able to
map additional form textarea field into the google note field.
The earlier email even asked me if I would like to put all textarea field
or let me select which textarea fields into the Google contacts note field.
A ticket submission was submitted to your technical department to arrange
that for me. And mentioned I will receive an email when that is being done.
I received the email about 4 hours ago, mentioning that I could now map
additinal textarea field into the Google contact note field.
It is just like to arrange what textarea field to show up in the notifier
    email.
    Hope to hear from.you soon.
    Regards

    Hi Lee,

We apologize for the confusion. There must be a misunderstanding on how the new feature applied.

I tested it on my end, and I was able to mapped different TextArea field to Google Contacts Note Field(target field).

Please take note that the Note field in google contact is only one instance. You cannot add more than one Note field in google contact (at least that is what I found out -- please tell us if I am mistaken)

Because of this, you can only mapped one TextArea field at a time to the target Note field in google contacts. You can NOT mapped several TextArea field all at once to one Note field only.

Below are the visual when I did the testing of this on my end.

This is my test Contact form -- notice that there were 2 TextArea field on it.

When I proceed with the integration using the Google Contact App  http://apps.jotform.com/app/google_contacts

This is the screen on the field mapping process

Google Contacts Integration: Adding the Other Information from Form to Note Field Image 2 Screenshot 41

the Target fields are the google contact available fields. Notice that Note field is only one..

on the JotForm field, you can see I am able to select either of the 2 available TextArea field "Remarks" or "Description" from the form to match to Note field.

Please tell us if the procedure on your end during integration is not similar to what I have just described.

    Thanks.
