    Hi

I want to keep a record of all the links for the users in case they wish to edit it at a later date and ask me.

I am using Excel to transfer my data from the submission and would like that the links are saved against the submission automatically.

    TIA

    Hi,

Can you confirm that your are using the edit links in the e-mail?

If it is, I think, the only for you to have a record of all the "edit links" is by keeping those submission e-mails that have the edit link.

I was referring to the Edit Link mentioned on this guide

    -How-to-Let-Users-Update-Their-Form-Submissions-at-a-Later-Date

Please describe to us more what you wanted to do if my answer is not enough to what you need.

    Thanks!

I am able to provide the EDIT LINK option in the Autoresponder email but I needed to keep a record of each link in excel for future in case my user requires them as they need to update the form field status.

Second can we customise the 'edit link' to make it smaller using tinyurl or similar.

    Hello CMSELIT,

Edit link URL also includes the submission ID which is generated only after the form is submitted. In case you need to keep a record of all the edit-link for every submissions, you will have to manually construct the edit link yourself. This is how you can build your edit link:

    http://submit.jotformpro.com/form.php?formID=_FORMID_&sid=_SubmissionID_&mode=edit

You need to replace the "_FORMID_" and "_SubmissionID_" in the above URL with your form id# and the submission id respectively.

Second can we customise the 'edit link' to make it smaller using tinyurl or similar.

As the edit link is generated dynamically, you will have to manually convert the edit link URl to a tinyurl.

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
