Paypal getting custom amounts from calculation fields

Alternately it would be far more flexible if you were able to include the paypal field as an output in the logic options for "Insert Text Or Mathematical Calculation into field"

as this would then enable anyone to do a calculation that simply fills that field.  Not sure of the complexity but that would be the ideal solution.

So as an example i'd be looking at doing the following:
    My form: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/40960689313965

...would include the calculation as follows:
when invoice total is filled multiply invoice amount by 1.03 (3%) and output to the paypal field "Grand Total = $

I forwarded your suggestion to our developers. They will analyse it and decide upon its feasibility. You will be contacted through this thread once they have an update on this.

    Thank you

I just wanted to let you know of something strange that happened.

The form I include via the link in my comment at the top was completed yesterday by me.

    This one: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/40960689313965

I finished it with the last change being the removal of the html text area at the top that I used for a header.
I just checked it now and all my changes we removed and the form was left as though I had just started creating it.  I can see all the changes in the revision history but I definitely did not make them so I don't know who did and how they could have had access unless it was one of your tech people.  Otherwise I can't explain it.

I'm reverting it back to the version I had before the latest changes now (thank god for the revision history) but I thought you should know about this.

Hi, I am glad to know you reverted it back, I do not think one of our supporters did it, since we clone a user´s form in our own account when testing, and then suggest users to do as we have done with the cloned version, we never touch the original form.

I would recommend you to change the password of your account, someone might have access to it, just for security measures. If you have another questions, please open a new thread,  we will be glad to assist you.

    Hi,

I am happy to inform you that it is now possible to pass the value of a calculation widget to a custom amount payment field.

The calculation widget must be first present before you can configure the payment field to get the value from that widget.

Here's a sample form to demonstrate this new and exciting feature:

Is there a way to use "Get Amount From" to work with " Users can select multiple products" under "Sell Products"?

I need to have Registration product where the cost is taken from a calculation widget. For example:

    Membership

         ° Regular Membership,     $100
         ° Medium Membership,     $500
         ° Priority Membership,   $1,000

    Registration

         ° Early
         ° Late

The Registration fees will be determined according to membership type and date registering.  Is this something you could implement?
