    Does JotForm's file upload do any virus checking on uploaded files? Can you tell me anything about what I can expect from files uploaded through jotform, security / virus wise?

    Hi,

    No, we do not do virus checking on files uploaded to our users' forms. You are responsible for checking the files uploaded on your own forms. If you do not allow potential virus-carrying files (.exe, .vbs, etc...) anyway, there should be little to no chance that you'll receive an infected file.

    Of course, you should practice extreme caution before opening files. Checking the files yourself using an anti-virus on your computer should help minimize the chances of infection.
