    Hi,

I am trying to use this suggestion: http://www.jotform.com/features/save-and-continue/

But the questionnaries are not being saved.

Please, help me to find out what is wrong.

    Bests,

    Paula Kasmirski

In case you would like to populate the name and email fields on the second form, please use the following session link on your first form:

    http://www.jotformz.com/form/41518450785661?session={email}&primeiroNome85={primeiroNome}&email={email}

Also, please use the same session link on both Autoresponder and form Thank You page.

Please give it a try and let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Hello,

    Thank you very much.

Now the name and e-mail populate on the second form.

But, unfortunately, the answers are not being saved yet. This has something to do with the type of the question (ratio button)?

I need to use this kind of question, because my questions admit only one answer.

    Bests, Paula

You are missing 'n' on the link. Please add it, and then try again.

I corrected the link, but the questionnarie is not saved : (

Would it be related to the size of the questionnarie?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

It probably is due to your browser's cache. Please try clearing first your browser cache and retry again.

So far, it was working on my end when I did a test on your form http://www.jotformz.com/form/41535375101648

here is my saved session http://form.jotformz.com/form/41518450785661?session=jon2jotform@gmail.com&primeiroNome85=jonathan&email=jon2jotform@gmail.com

Please inform us if issue still persist.

    Hi,

Today I tested the form again, on Explorer, Mozilla e Crome, and the problem persisted.

    I cleaned the cache before.

I don't know what to do!

I double-checked this from my end and I found that I am able to access my colleagues answers. I tested this a second time from my end on top of that just to be sure and I can also see the same via my secondary test too

Just for clarification purposes when you said you tested this what happened? Did you fill in the link information and on the second form you then did not see it after that to appear on your second form? Or was it when you are asking about the data not saving you mean its not being saved into your submissions or email notification to see? Or what are you looking at when you say that?

Just wondering so we can better understand what you are having a problem with on your end which will help eliminate any confusion so we can help you more.

Just my two cents, the data is being saved upon click the Next / Back button.

    Hi,

First of all, thank you very much for the help. You are really fast and good.

What was happening was the following:

    - I click in the form's link: http://form.jotformz.com/form/41535375101648

    - Then I put my data in the first form (first name and e-mail) and click on "next". Then I go to the second form by clicking on the link that appears right after.

    - The first page of the second form is ok, because my name and e-mail appears automatically.

    - Then I answer some questions and submit the questionnarie.

    - When I click in the link that was sended to my e-mail, I can't see my answers; the questionnarie remains blank, except for my name and e-mail.

I believe the problem was that I have submited the questionnarie.

Once I submit the answers, is the questionnarie reset?

What is really important is the answers being saved while someone answers the questionnarie. It is very long and tiring. I believe people will take more than once to answer it completely.

About what KadeJM said, you can only see your colleagues answers if you have their links, right?

Maybe, I should rename the bottom "next" to "next/save" to make things clear to the users.

    Bests, Paula

    Hi Paula,

That's right, the form will reset! Once the form is submitted, the answers will be cleared. Except the fact that the name and email are still on the URL parameter that's why you are still seeing them on the form when you open the form URL.

If you want to view or if you want users to view their submitted answer, use Edit Link. It is found on the notification wizard, just click it to add it on your form notification. The {edit_link} tag will be replaced with the actual edit URL once it is sent to your email.

Hope this clears your question. Thanks!

    Hi,

Everything was ok and I made several tests that worked out. But today, after I received 27 submissions, my form stoped working.

There are 2 problems ocurring: after to inform the name and e-mail, click on "submit", and click on the link in the thank you page, the main form are not showing the name and e-mail anymore. Besides, even if I write these data, I can't access the main form.

I wrote another doubt to report this problem, but the other support person said that is not possible to have 2 forms connected and that I must change my form.

I don't understand why my form, that was working perfectly fine, is not working anymore.

Has Jotform changed same kind of configuration?

    Please, help me.

    Thanks.

    Hello Paula,

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly. Do you mean to say that when you submit your first form, you are redirected to thank you page which has clickable URL and clicking on this URL does not show the URL parameter data in the second form?

I did test your form and I am able to replicate the issue you are having. Did you make any changes to your form recently?

It took quite some time to figure out the cause of this issue. There seems to be some technical glitch where the "Save Forms to Continue Later" feature does not work if you enable multi language option in your second form.

I am reporting this to our back end team. We will get back to you as soon as this issue is fixed. For now I would suggest you to remove the "Language" option from your second form. Please check the screenshot below on how to remove the languages:

    Thank you!

    Hi, thanks!!!

Now I can access the main form again. The only thing that is not working yet is that the first name is not appearing automatically on the main form.

To make it clearer: when you submit your first form, you are redirected to thank you page which has clickable URL and clicking on this URL you go to the main/second form, with the URL parameter data in the second form. What is happening is that the first name is not appearing.

Is there something wrong with the url?

    Hello Paula,

Have you changed the field name of your second form recently?

Upon checking thank you page of your form #41535375101648, I found that the name of your "First Name / Primeiro nome"field in the clickable URL is not correct. It should be "primeiroNome" but you have mentioned "primeiroNome84".

Please use the following URL in the thank you page of your first form and that should solve your problem:

    http://form.jotformz.com/form/41518450785661?session={email}&primeiroNome={primeiroNome}&email={email}

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
