Request for Counting Feature for multiple files that are uploaded

    Hi, 

     

    I saw someone else requesting this here - http://www.jotform.com/answers/391331

     

    I would also very much like this feature. Just the simple ability of a file count of the uploaded files. Would be great if this Field could then be used in Calculations or other conditions or commands.

     

    For example, I work for a photo printing company. And looking to hook our website up straight through Dropbox with a Jotform. I am working on price structuring for our services and also want to implement one of the payment systems. But without the file count it is impossible for me to setup the form to workout a price automatically without a user input which could be incorrect.

     

    Will be upgrading to one of the paid subscriptions should we be able to implement this how I want to.

    I thought that we had added something like this already, but it seems we haven't yet so I'll go ahead and pass this along to our developers as a request on your behalf.

    Thanks, it's vital for my concept to work. 

    Will they post here if its implemented? And is it possible that it might be soon? I would think it should be fairly simple but im no developer! haha

    Yes, we will definitely inform you when we have any updates on this. However, we do not have any ETA at this time, our Development Team works based on their own priorities.

    No updates yet James. Our developers work based on priorities, if they see a feature is requested by an increasing number of people, then they assign a higher priority.

    Sorry James but no updates yet from our developers. This ticket is assigned to one of our developers, but we can't give you any specific date on when this will be implemented.

    I can only assure you that you will be notified here if this feature has been added.

    I hate to be a pain but do you think there is any chance of this being implemented or should I look to see if there are any other options?

    Really would like to get our updated online ordering activated.

    No we have not yet implemented this. If that happens then we will notify you via a new response.

    Additionally, We do understand that this request is important to you but please note that we do not make any guarantees or set any timeframes for these sorts of things.     Unfortunately, the feature request has been cancelled most likely due to the request didn't pass the evaluation process and likely not to be implemented in the near future due to its low priority.
