Confirmation email on confirmed field

I want to send everyone who submits a form a confirmation email. Their email is submitted through a confirmed field:

But when I go to pick the recipient field, it does not appear.

Unfortunately, this is not possible since the confirmed field uses iframe. However, the built-in email address field is also powerful with a variety of features including validations, etc.
