    Hi!

    I can't quite do this.

I've setup a subscription for $99.95 for the first month then, $7.95 for each month. And I made a coupon for a fixed amount of $3 for 12 uses, applied to reoccurring charges.

But it takes $3 off the first $99.95. Any workarounds? Do I have to do 2 authorizations, one for the setup and another for monthly payments?

    Cheers.

    Ray

    Hi Ray,

If I understand correctly, the conflict was the Discount coupon was always being applied to the item/subscription as a whole.

    This is correct though.

Unfortunately, the discount cannot be applied on just portion or parts of an item/products/subscriptions. It is always applied to the whole item/s.

A workaround I can suggest is to create 2 subscriptions/items then apply discount only to the appropriate subscription.

Example, you can set the other item/subscription as one-time payment and then use this item as the only one affected by the discount coupon.

The other monthly item should not be included in the discount coupon.

Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance about this.

    Thanks!
