How to a make a wide and tall text box?

I am trying to make a paragraph style write in box so people can write more information if they want to and I can't find that option. I see it in all the templates but I am doing this form from scratch. I will need this on many forms so how do I adjust the height? I see on the templates that you can change column and rows of those fields but when I try and edit a text field to be more than one row that option is not available?

Never mind! I just figured it out. For anyone else who was as thick as me it's the "text area" button and not the the "text box" button.
