Adding new question to a form deletes Google sheets tabs

I have my forms connected to Google Sheets. This works well and I have added an additional tab (sheet) to my spreadsheet to help analyse the data. However, I find that if I add a new question to my form, and submit data, the spreadsheet updates and deletes the extra tab (and its data)!

Is there a way to avoid this happening?

So you are having trouble with your google integration after making a modification to your form?

This happens because you cannot modify it otherwise this breaks your integration. If you make any changes of any sort to your form you then have to remove the integration and reapply it to rebuild it otherwise it will not work. 

Additionally, if you are making and changes to the spreadsheet itself then be advised that this will certainly not work because that breaks the data that is being received by the integration.
