Integrating jotform into BuddyPress

I love this form but i can not seem to utilise it on buddypress if i disable there registration page and attach it to a different log in plug-in it works perfectly and seamlessly.  however then the profile page is left blank with no way to add the completed form to the patients profile. The doctor needs to see this prior to engaging a consultation with the patient. and since we do not know who the patient will pick as a doctor we need to have the form viewable to every doctor via patients profile page.

What would be great is if I could use my jotform as a registration page for buddypress but i know that is asking to much i just need a way to embed and make it viewable.

    Any Help?

    Hi Len,

BuddyPress is quite a nice feature for any WordPress based website, but with it you have 2 different profile pages (just wanted to point it out).

What you would need to do is to set your jotform to submit the data to some page on your server that will grab this and then register your user.

Now the reason why I had mentioned that there are 2 profile pages is that you will need to register user as either WordPress user or as a BuddyPress user with your own scripting and I presume that you want to make it a social site so you will be better of creating using BuddyPress register user functionality.

After this they should be able to register using jotform created with JotForm Builder and have the  BuddyPress account set and ready to use.

Good things to take a look at:

Send POST Data From JotForm Using PHP in Custom Thank You Page

Setting Up the Thank You Page

How to Post Submission Data to Thank You Page

This might be a good page to take a look at for adding your own registration script

    https://buddypress.org/support/topic/modifying-customising-the-registration-process/

You will also need to forbid access to the usual registration page or redirect the users from it to your page with jotform to avoid anyone registering using direct link.

I hope that this helps you in your quest, but feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

I note this is an old post, with all the updates to Jotform recently is there an easier way of using it as a Buddypress registration form?

There is still no direct way to use JotForm as a Buddypress registration form.  What was previously mentioned in this thread would be the only way of connecting the two at this time that I have seen.
