I offer letters from Santa each Christmas. I would like to create a form like my competitors have. They ask parents to fill in info about their children and then they click next and are taken to an editable text box that shows what the letter from Santa will say with the info they typed in previously merged into it. Then they have the option of editing that text one last time before hitting the submit button. How would I do this using Jotform? How do I take the info collected in step 1 and merge it into a pre-populated text box in step 2?

Hi,
I would suggest taking a look at the conditions. Specifically into the Update a form field value option.

How to Insert Text or Mathematical Caculation into a field using a Condition
Do let us know if you have any further questions.
Best Regards,

Thanks Ben! Can you tell me, is there a way to insert line breaks through this condition? So that there are separate paragraphs which appear in the new text box?

Hi,
Can you please clarify how you meant it?
Was it like this
You can achieve that by updating a field value (i.e the TextArea field) with a combination of 3 elements (Textarea + line break(empty field) + Textarea)
I will try create a demo form for this. I will get back to you quickly.
Thanks.
