How to pre-populate a field based on a user selection to use it in email

How do i get a hidden condition to be included on the emailed response/notification?

I have a form that I have setup up to autofill a text box from a dropdown selection. IE: User selects a branch name from a drop down and then it shows the location address in a text field. I have this working fine.  How do I then get that to show on my emailed response and notification?

I can only select the individual tags for each hidden box and not put in a condition to tell it to only reply with what was selected - is there a way of doing this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Thank you for contacting us.

It is possible to use a single location field pre-populated by conditional logic. We can use 'Update a form field value' conditions in this case.

    Example:

And add the addresses you need with multiple conditions.

If you need any further assistance on this, please let us know.

    Hi.
When doing this with a phone number I get the error message that reads "if output is phone field then source must also be".

    What exactly does this mean?

    Hi there,

Currently, "Update Field Value" condition doesn't work with the "Phone" field. This issue will be solved as soon as possible.

However, you can use normal "Text Box" field with "Input Mask" instead of using the "Phone".

To make the "Text Box" field with "Input Mask",

This field will work with the "Update Field Value" condition.

If you need extra information, please let us know.

    Thanks.

    Thank you,
I'll keep it in mind.  I was trying to pre-populate fields based on user name but then I discovered the option to set up an auto responder with edit-link to allow people to edit their submissions after submitting.
It's not a bad alternative to what I wanted but definitely easier than what I was planning.

    Thanks again.
