I am having a hard time with the migration, just wandering if there was any help you all could provide. I really appreciate it... it keeps saying Migration request is waiting in the queue

The forms data might take some time to be imported. So, after entering your Adobe FormsCentral login details, you will get the forms on your account within 1-2 minutes. But the data may arrive after 10 minutes.

This happens because we are getting lots of requests and it takes time to get the data and load it into the account.

So, the jobs are queued and processed in the order they arrive. If there is nothing else in the queue and if you only have 10 submissions you will probably get it in few minutes.

So, to set the proper expectation, data migration may take 5 minutes or 50 minutes. It depends on the waiting jobs.

I hope this heps you to understand. We appreciate your patience on this.

    Kind regards.

    Hello,

I have done my resquest yesterday evening and I still have this message this morning (I have about 25-30 forms on FormsCentral). Is this delay normal ?

Thank you very much for your answer.

I will not move your question to a new thread since someone else could find it as well and hopefully my answer will help you and them as well.

Please take into account that you have 25-30 forms in your Adobe account, but that there are people with over hundred forms as well. The same can be told about the submissions - for example, while you have 25-30 forms, you could easily have over 20.000 entries on a single form, which would mean that there is a lot more time needed to import it than if you had only 200 submissions.

Our tools are never about just doing something, we would not release them unless they went through some testing and unless we are sure that once done, the data and the forms would be of proper quality.

While I can not take a look at the queue to tell you where exactly the forms are in it, I can tell you that each day more and more people are switching over and that means that a bit more and more time is needed for the tool to process all of the requests. All I would like to ask is to please give it a bit time and I believe that you will be satisfied with the result. You can see the results of our first tools (now considered old) here: FormsCentral templates These are the templates that were offered by Adobe FormsCentral.Hope that helps, but do let us know if you have any further questions and we would be happy to answer them.

Hi, I've been waiting two days now with only half of my forms imported and still no data imported.  I have tried to re-run but it just keeps saying Migration request is waiting in the queue.

Is a two day wait normal?  Is it stuck?  Can my import be restarted?

    Thanks.

    You are welcome @cb64800.

@ManchesterCathedral, I am glad to see that you have transferred over as well, and I would like to ask you as well to be a bit more patient.

I can not see the list for import nor just the number of user accounts that were added to the queue, but when this blog post was created few days back: Import Both Your Forms and Responses in a Single Step from Adobe FormsCentral we have helped transfer over 500 accounts from Adobe FormsCentral over to us.

We are looking forward to anyone else that would like to switch and are doing our best to make the transition as fast as possible - while still being able to hold the quality.

I am not aware of any other form builder that has created the import tool that will transfer the conditions, fields (even headers) and similar and while I did see some general import tools being offered, they all require that you make a lot of changes to them in order to have it just right.

Having that said, I believe that you will be more than satisfied with our import tool, which is why so many people are switching over, unfortunately causing a slight delay in how much time is needed in all forms and their data to be transferred over.

Is a two day wait normal?

This unfortunately depends only on the amount of people requesting the transfer, I can only presume that this will slowly increase over time, but I am sure that our developers will find a way to enhance the tools even further, to lower the time needed, or spread the workload.

    Is it stuck?

No. It is under observation 24/7 just like our other parts of our systems.

A note should be made that we will help everyone from Adobe switch over, but that we must make sure that people that are already using our system do not get a lower level of service because of it, meaning that all of the available resources are allocated to this transfer, but it is also very important to not jeopardize other parts of the system.

    Can my import be restarted?

Once in our system, I do not think that it would be possible to reset, since if it were, you would be pulling out your data and setting it at the back of the queue - only prolonging the time needed to get to them.

I hope that this answers to your questions at least to some extent, but please do let us know if you have any further questions.

Also, if your data is not transferred to your account tomorrow neither, please start a new thread and we can raise it to our team in charge of this, just to make sure - but as mentioned, only if there are 3 days passed and data is not being transferred for any of the forms and they might be able to tell you where your data is in the queue.

    Hello,

It has been a couple of days and my transfer still says migration is waiting in the queue and no forms or responses have been transferred over yet.. is there something wrong with my account or transfer?

Hi @TampaSportsAuthority, no, there is nothing wrong, it just depends where you are in the queue at this time.

There are many asking us similar questions, leading me to notice that there are more and more people each day that have already submitted their forms, some already have them and are switching their Adobe Forms with their new jotforms, and some, like yourself, still waiting on forms, data or both.

If you take a look at few posts above you can see my explanation why some time is needed for our tool to transfer everything and why a queue list exists.

I hope that everyone will get their brand new jotforms very soon so that you can start using our JotForm Builder as I am sure that you will like it :)

In the mean time, I would suggest taking a look why you made a good choice selecting JotForm here: 7 Reasons Why JotForm is the Best Adobe FormsCentral Alternative

Hi to everyone reading this thread and if you are new to JotForm, welcome :)

We want to assure that everyone had their forms or forms and data imported from their Adobe account to their JotForm account and are already enjoying their experience with us.

For that reason, if it has passed more than 1 day since your import request, please do let us know and we would be happy to check why that might be so.

To do this, please open a new thread by clicking here - if you do not have one opened already and do let us know:

    1. when you have requested the import and
    2. if it had included the import of forms or forms and their data.

We would be happy to hear from you if you are satisfied with the import as well, so please feel free to leave the feedback on our blog post here: Import Both Your Forms and Responses in a Single Step from Adobe FormsCentral.

I would also like to hear from @TampaSportsAuthority and @cb64800 if there are or were any issues with the import so that we can look into them, so please let us know if so.

@ManchesterCathedral I see that there is already a thread that is raised for you, so you will be updated through it or over email directly by our developers.

Thank you all for your patience.

    Hello,

    I still have nothing.

I made my request on february 4... I have the message "your forms are being imported".

    Thank you.

EDIT: forgot what I said. I tried again and I have all my forms ;)

Great, thank you for the update @cb64800, I see that there are almost 30 jotforms in your account and I hope that you like how they were imported :)

If anyone has the issue with the import tool not importing for longer than 1 day - as mentioned above, just let us know so that we can take a look at it and have you all set up :)
