Where do I get the 'folderID' so that I can get the forms for that folder via your API?

I assume you must be referring to the JotForm API.

Please check the documentation also for more details. Specifically, the Get Folder ID is on this section.

Still don't know where I am suppose to get the folderID to complete the API call. I need to get the forms for a specific folder.

You can do a call to https://api.jotform.com/user/folders to get the list of user folders including the root folder

Then, you can pull the folder content including list of forms with this call: 

https://api.jotform.com/folder/{folderID}?apiKey={apiKey}
