How can I have numbers print out with commas?

Is there any way to get numbers to print out with commas .... e.g. 1000 = 1,000? Also, is there any way to get them to print out dollar signs or percentages?

and use the Comma Separator function to add comma separator for larges numbers (in thousandths)
