How do I edit a prepopulated form that has already been saved?

I created a pre populated form and tested it. The data that I filled in was not correct but I can't correct it because I can't get back to the pre populated version of the form. I seem to be missing something that everyone else knows. Please tell me what to do.

In order to edit a submission please select the form > submissions:

Select the submission you wish to edit > select edit > click submit:
