How to generate a unique student number in form?

Hello, Can you help I want to be unique student number field added by users

I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly. Do you want to auto generate a unique student number or you want to ensure that your form users input only a unique student id?

If you want to auto generate a unique student number, you should add a "Unique ID" widget in your form which will auto generate a unique number.
