My form works when I view and access via computer but recently, while using the form at an event. We had the forms accessible via iPads. The form froze and took minutes to type only a few words. It happened on multiple iPads. The internet connection was very fast, all other websites worked fine but jot form performed miserably.  I had to go to backup forms via paper and now have to type over 400 entries for a form into the system because it would not work.  I tried multiple browsers, I rebooted the iPads. I am extremely disappointed with how it performed on a mobile device.

Can you please tell me why this happened? I am very upset about this.

I checked your jotform http://www.jotform.us/form/50366278600151 and I can see it is a very long form with a lot of payment items and images on it also..

Please understand that it is also an online form.

So depending on the speed of the internet where the form was being accessed, the performance/loading on the mobile device will most likely to vary also.

I checked also using an Ipad emulator, and I was able to use the form properly.

Can you also try using its direct link http://www.jotform.us/form/50366278600151

and were you able to test it also on other connections? It will help us check for more details if you can share to us more info on how you use the form on the mobile device.

Hope this help. Please contact us again anytime for any assistance you need.

    Thanks.

Jonathan, I have tried it on multiple internet connections and even tried with different iPad models and iPhone models.  Still don't see why the form would be so sluggish on a mobile device compared to a laptop on the same exact internet connection... How can we look into this further?

The big difference in desktop PC, laptop or mobile phone and tablet is that smaller they are more they get warm when you do something more intensive on them.

The reason for this Nick is that even as they are very powerful, their limits are just not the same.

For example you can see how much power it is required when you just turn on wireless in comparison when it is turned off, or when you open something that is resource intensive, like your jotform is in this case.

Now having all this said, your jotform can be optimized and quite a lot when it comes to mobile phones and tablets, all you would need to do is to replace the images that you have at this time that are of 1279x1508px and all you need is a photo of 200px wide (the current size of them).

You will immediately see the difference once you do this.

Do let us know how it goes Nick.
