it's there but is not editable and does not show a URL or allow me to view submissions.  It appears I can rename it.  Can I do that?  Thanks again; we're getting there.

The Fillable PDF form is not editable in the Form Builder as it had already become a PDF file that can be distributed offline also.

If you want to edit/update the PDF Form, you have to do it on the source form where it came from. So, you edit the form, and then create again a Fillable PDF Form to have an updated version of PDF Form.

Download the PDF Form to use it

    It is usable like this

The downloaded form seems to work fine and does have all of the correct layout in place, as your image shows.  I was just curious if it was ever going to look like that visually on JF and editable there or if I want to make any changes, I should edit the downloaded form and then re-upload it with the changes?

I should edit the downloaded form and then re-upload it with the changes?

If I understand correctly, you meant that you will edit the downloaded PDF Form using your own PDF Editor right?

I suggest to take caution editing the PDF Form offline using your own PDF Editor as it might break the form and will not submit anymore.

As mentioned, if you need to edit the layout of the PDF Form, you will need to do it first on the original source form that was used to create the PDF form.

    Steps:

    1. Load the form in the Form Builder.

    2. Edit and Save

    3. Convert the form to Fillable PDF Form.

This means that editing the form should be done only within the Form Builder.

I hope I answered it correctly. Let us know if further assistance is needed.

    Thanks.

Yes, I will edit the computer-generated Adobe form and re-upload.  That should function.  I guess my basic question after this resolution, will the design of a form I created with Adobe on the computer ever be uploadable intact down the road so that it is editable up there?  Thanks again.

I "fixed" my original form on the computer, deleted the former one from my list on JF and uploaded the revised version.  I did this three days ago and my new upload still does not appear in my list.  Did you receive it?  Thank you.

    Hi dezertguy,

It seems like the new question you have is much more related to the status of the imported edited fillable PDF form that you have, to better assist you and so that we can focus more on one topic, I have opened a separate thread for that, please refer to this link instead: http://www.jotform.com/answers/546045, we will address it accordingly.

    Kind regards.
