Can I create a Grid Report with filter or a condition to display only certain submissions?

I didn't ask this question, but these are the same words I would have used to ask the one that I have, which your answer does not address:

Can I create a report which only includes submissions that have a certain field completed? That is, I know I can create a report limiting the columns I to the ones I care about for a certain purpose, but I get all submissions reflected. Obviously, once I download to excel, I can hide or delete all lines with blank data, but I cannot do that with a Grid Report. Is there some way for conditional inclusions?

Unfortunately it is not possible to hide empty fields on grid reports, but you can select the fields while creating the report:

We have a single form gathering lots of information. However, respondents don't need to complete all the fields, only some of the fields need to be seen by different members of our organization. So, when I created a grid report on our registration form just for Swim Lessons, I just would like to see submissions where someone clicked on swim lessons registrations. 

I had been hoping that you might have a function akin to what you do for customizing notifications, so that I could get a report of all submissions that met a certain condition.

You seems to be looking for a customized report with a filter feature. Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to create a report with filter.
