How can I get jotform to accept files that do not have extensions?

I am using jotform to upload files to dropbox.  But I cannot get it to accept files one might upload that do not have an extension.

I have tried * in the accepted extensions section, but this does not allow a file with no extension.

    Can you please help me.

I think it is not possible to upload the file if it doesn't have the extension name.

The file type validation script needs the extension name to determine the type of file being uploaded.

It will be risky also security wise, if you will just allow an unknown file type (no extension name) to be uploaded.

I suggest you let the end-user know the requirement to properly identify the file type being uploaded so that they will not upload a file without extension name.

Hope this help. Please let us know if there is more we can assist you with.

    Thanks.
