We forward product names to Freshbooks. However, there is no description field provided with the product names in our Payment Wizard, so it seems that there is nothing to forward to the Freshbooks at the moment.
I have attached a feature request ticket to this thread to see if the Description part can be implemented with our Freshbooks integration. In the meantime, you might consider manually editing invoices.
There is no ETA for when it will be implemented, but we will let you know if we have any updates.
