Made submissions are no longer saved in my DropBox folders

    Hi there,

I have several forms on our account that have Dropbox integration and it seems that at some point in the last few months the submissions just stopped showing up in the Dropbox. I have tested multiple times today and noted that none of the submissions are in the Dropbox. They are showing up in Jotform.

Is there any explanation or way to fix this?

    Thanks!

    Katrina

    Hi Katrina,

This means that your DropBox integration had been broken for some reason and that you would need to re-create it in order for the files to be sent to your DropBox account again.

Did you have it near its limits at some time since if your DropBox account gets near the limit it can break the integration.

It is however easy to fix, all you need to do is to follow the steps here to re-integrate with DropBox: Upload to Dropbox with JotForm.

    Hi Ben,

If I follow those instructions, which I had already done earlier today, I am not given the opportunity to log in to Dropbox as it is already connected. Do you still recommend that I disconnect it and then re-authenticate?

Also, the Dropbox account is a business account, so it's nowhere near the limit for available space if that's what you were referring to about when you asked if it's near its limits.

    Thanks

Yes Katrina, you should always first remove the old integration, then create a new one.

In case it is still not asking you to confirm, there might be some issue with the forms cache, but that is easily cleared by following these steps: Clear form cache

So first what I would recommend is to:

    1. remove the integration
    2. re-integrate again (Upload to Dropbox with JotForm )

if it still does not work then

    1. remove the integration
    2. clear form cache
    3. re-integrate again.

This should then create the proper connection and allow your submissions to go to your DropBox folder, but do let us know how it goes.

    Hi Ben,

Well I followed your steps, thanks for the instructions they were super easy to follow. Still wasn't seeing anything in the specified Dropbox folder but then I took a closer look at my Dropbox folder and what happened was I had moved the folder into another folder.. so Jotform ended up re-creating the folder back at the original location, and all the recent submissions were in there.

Thanks for your time, sorry that was my mistake!
