    Hi,

Recently Jotform included an option to fill out a PDF of the form to somehow submit a new submission.

However, the PDF's which Jotform creates of these Forms is just a basic dead PDF form - doesn't submit the information up to Jotform or anything.

    Hi,

The problem with the form is that when you converted it to a fillable PDF, there are widgets on it. The specific widget the causes the submit button to disappear is the "Preview Before Submit" widget. The live form needs to preview the form answers first before submit, but this is not possible in the PDF that is why the submit button is not displayed.

You'll need to temporarily remove the widget first then create the PDF form again, that should give you a form with the submit button, this will also allow submitting data from the PDF form, as long as it is being viewed on a PDF reader like Adobe Reader, Adobe Acrobat and Foxit.

To learn more about the fillable PDF form, you can check this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/312-Fillable-PDF-Everything-you-need-to-know-about-JotForm-Fillable-PDF-Creator.

Do let us know if that works.

    Thank you.
