I have already searched the options for the add to cart Paypal button and realize that this is not an option.

We used Jotform this year for Vacation Bible School registration.  We had over 400 kids enrolled. Each student enrolled is a cost of $15.00.  The form this year was set up so that parents only had to enter common information (such as parent info, doctor, emergency contact, etc.) one time, even if they had more than one child. The form contained fields to enter data for up to four children.  At the bottom they would enter the number of kids and the amount would change based on that number. This way, also, they would only have to enter their credit card information one time.

The main problem with this information was that the end user (database entry person) had to manually enter each child and parent info/emergency contact as a separate record in Microsoft Access.  This took hours.

It made more sense for the parent to enter one form per child, meaning they would have to enter all of the common information for each child, as well as their credit card info.

In Microsoft access, I can create a direct link to the exported excel file. As long as every time I export it, I overwrite the existing with same file name, it is seamless. All reports in access are built on the one linked spreadsheet and it would be seamless, saving hours and hours of data entry.

I'm trying to determine how I could simplify the entry for the parents so that the common information would only have to be entered once and payment made once even if they had more than one child.

I would still need the list to be able to be exported as one list with a row for each child.

Please let me know if there is a way to set this up to accomplish this.

    Thanks

    Hello Lorraine,

I am not sure if I have understood your requirement correctly.

I did check the form "ABC VBS Registration Form" you have in your account and I am unable to find the fields which is common field for every child. All the field you have for 1 child is specific to that child only.

I would suggest you to please explain your requirement a bit more in detail and we will surely help you. You may also like to identify and let us know the list of common field which you do not want the users to input again. Please be noted that it is possible to take advantage of our "Update a form field value" condition feature to populate form field with the value of another field. This will ensure that users do not have to input the same data again.

I see that you have added a quantity field in your PayPal payment question but there is a another way to achieve your requirement where user do not have to mention for how many child he wants to pay. You can add condition in your form to find out how many child data user has input and then add "Form Calculation" widget in your form to calculate the amount. You can then pass this calculation data to your PayPal payment field. The following guide should help you:  http://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field

Do get back to us with your detailed requirement and we will create a demo form with the above feature we have suggested or we will make the required changes in your cloned form.

We will wait for your response.

    Thank you!
