An example, to a form I assign the number 1000 to the number 1010 (answer), ie if they sent a questionnaire response. the consecutive would increase from 1000 to 1001, so on until reach the 1010.

But i need tu assing the number, for example; Form # 1, i assing the numer 1200 to 1220; to the Form #2 i assing the numer 2100 to 2140.

Can we assign a custom number to each submission? Image 1 Screenshot 20

If I have understood you correctly, you want to have a custom number that will automatically increase by one on each submission and that you can set up to start at any number of your preference.

For that I would suggest using our Unique ID widget. It allows just that - setting up the number (you can have some text included as well) and with each submission, it will increase the counter.

If you are not familiar with the widgets, you can see on the following guide just how simple it is to add a widget to your jotform.

Now it can not stop someone from making a submission, but there is a way to do this as well and it is rather quick as well as above.

To do that, I suggest checking out the following guide: How to Limit Submissions in a Form

Of course if you have any questions along the way do let us know and we would be happy to assist you :)

Yes, that is true. The Unique ID widget can not be shown, it is always hidden and is actually only updated once the submission is made.
