Can I edit imported FormsCentral PDF form to JotForm?

    Hello,

I "imported" a formscentral pdf form and it sent me the email that it was imported, but it just opens in a webpage. I want it to open in my forms so I can edit it. Is this not possible?

I only need PDF forms, not interactive web forms.

    Thanks,

    Mallory

    Hi,

Upon checking your account, I see that you have an imported PDF form there, as you have also mentioned. Please take note that our form builder cannot edit imported or upload fillable PDF forms.

When you import your PDF form in our end, you need to download it and use that one instead. What are the benefits? The newly downloaded fillable PDF form can auto collect submissions from users when they fill it out and click the submit button. Here's a step by step guide.

    1. In your My Forms list, click the uploaded/imported PDF form, choose "Download PDF".

    2. You will then have an option to auto collect the data from that downloaded PDF form, when users fill out that form and click the submit button.

What I could advise is that you import the web or online forms (not PDF) from your Adobe FormsCentral account to JotForm. You can then use our form builder to update or edit those forms. If you wish to use a fillable PDF form, you can convert those web or online forms into one by checking this link: http://www.jotform.com/help/312-Fillable-PDF-Everything-you-need-to-know-about-JotForm-Fillable-PDF-Creator.

I hope that helps. Do let us know if you need further assistance on this.
