Hi,
Just checking if this could be possible. We have a membership and they join using Jotform. We issue membership cards to everyone and we would like to monitor our useage & make life easier for people if possible.
We can purchase a scanner but need a system to generate a code. The data is in My forms - is there a way to automatically generate a code from specific data in Jotform?
How about an app for use on mobiles?
Thanks

I have had a look at the bar codes and QR codes but in the forum it says
that the code cannot show the name, There appears to be some confusion on
this point with varying views.
We have families register I need to show either a list of names on one
code, or generate different codes from different data within the sheet. If
I tag multiple 'names' in the field codes will it return all the data
specified in the sheet?
Is it possible to show the code in a way that we can print it out to make
membership cards? ie would it show on the download of the info in CSV
format.
I can see how it could work for people who keep the details on a phone.
Ideally I we would like it to look better than a bar or QR code and cannot
see how I can generate the code into an email that could look any better.
Just looking for some guidance on what is possible. Thanks

What you are trying to accomplish is not possible with the widgets, since you want to generate the codes based on the collected data "need a system to generate a code", this QR Code widgets is to encode text, number, sentences, URLs etc, meaning you have to manually enter the information into the widget, so there is no way to automatically generate a code from specific data in your jotform or pull the information related to a specific name with our tools.
I would recommend you to download the source code of your form and hire a programmer to create a system that would suit all the requirements and processes involved.

researching specific software for the task. Many thanks for your quick
response.
