Adding Quantities, Rental / Subscription and Auto-selection to total for payment

    Dear all,

I am struggling with finishing off my JotForm and really require some advice/a point in the right direction!

The form I am creating is a product purchase/order portal.

The products are bought in a very specific order, think of it as a pizza restaurant: you select a primary product (a type of dough) then secondary products (tomato sauce... bbq sauce...) then additional products based on the first selection (toppings etc) - I am not running a pizza business but this is easiest way to think of it!

As the previous choices influence the available options to purchase items, I have had to create a very long purchase order using the empty fields (radio buttons, check lists and drop downs) and then using a hidden calculation tool I am able to add up the prices per product.

The issue with the empty fields is that I cannot see a way to add quantities which multiply the calculation values accordingly!! I am also unable to add a rental cost - some of the products have an installation, one-off fee, and then a recurring rental cost!! The way around this that I have thought of, is adding in fields which are the rentals by themselves.. however in doing so I would need them automatically selected depending on if the customer chooses the product that requires the specific rental.

Please help if there is any direction to a formula to solve this!! Or an independent developer that may be able to help us ...

    Best Regards,

    Tom

Unfortunately Tom, you can not have both single payments and recurring payments set up on the same form.

You could have one form that will allow you to accept the direct payments and the other that would be used for the recurring payments, but at this moment, not one that would do both.

Now I would also like to ask - to confirm if you want to add the quantity fields next to radio buttons and checkboxes for the same item that they have selected?

Now in regards to these additional fields, we could work around that by setting them as required. That way if they are shown, they must be updated, and you can always pre-set their values to match the basic need of 1 item, or specific checkmark or radio option that is selected.

I would like to get all the details and your plans here so that we can properly go through them and see what could be done and how as that would allow us to see what you see and hopefully see a way to combine it all together.

Hi Ben, that's fine I have worked out a way around the single and recurring payments issue. However, I am struggling to add in quantities to radio buttons and checklists. Basically half the available products may be bought in different quantities to each other so (ideally) each product would have its own quantity, such as appear on the Purchase Order form. If you know a way around this that would be ideal! Thank you very much

Thank you for providing us with the additional details. As your other thread is geared more towards the quantity fields for specific products, we will be providing support on that matter there:
