Is there an identifier that we can use on the Jot form that can be used by accounting?

This identifier would be used to identify money that was submitted from a specific form to a specific account.

    Hi,

What kind of identifier would you be looking for?  You could add many sorts of fields to your form that will require some sort of identification.  Do you plan to have multiple forms with the same products?  If you could let us know a bit more information regarding your requirements, we can likely help you with whatever you need.

    Hi David,
On our E-Commerce forms, we use what is called an Order-ID Prefix which allows the payments from the form to be identified, so that Accounting know where to direct the money. We currently have over 100 E-commerce forms, so we must have a way to identify which form was used for payment. This number is also included when the payment is processed through the payment gateway (PayPal PayFlow Pro).
    Thanks,

Something like the unique ID widgets sounds like it could be almost perfect:

The only shortcoming is that this cannot be included in the details forwarded to PayPal.  Only the information collected in the payment field itself will be forwarded to the payment gateway.  Unfortunately, I do not believe it would be possible to include a unique identifier directly.

You could include a free product in each one of your orders that has a unique ID of some sort.  Short of doing something like that though, it would not be possible to include in the PayPal data.
