We want to add a new, separate account for one of our departments. Is it possible to transfer a form created in our main account to this new account that we wish to establish?

Yes, it is possible. There are two ways that you can achieve this.

    1. We can move / transfer the forms for you, upon your request. Moving a form this way moves all its associated submissions as well, and the original account no longer has access to that form or submissions. They become the ownership of the recipient account.

Your request must come from the account that owns the form, and it must be as clear as possible on which form is to be moved/transferred, and which account is to receive it. This is to avoid accidentally moving the wrong form, or moving it to the wrong account.

    2. Alternatively, you can set up your other account as a sub-account by following our guide on How to Share Forms with a Sub Account User. By setting it up as a sub account, your original account still owns the form and its submissions. Your other account (the sub-account) is able to either edit the form, view its submissions, or both - based on what permissions you have decided to give to your sub account.

I hope this helps. Please let us know how you would like to proceed, and if you'd like us to move the form, please provide us the information which form or forms you'd like to move, and to which account.

    Thank you.
