What payment option should we use if we won't actually be taking any payment?

What payment option should we use if we won't actually be taking any payment, but just need the credit card on file (that's why we ask for it in the form!)?

You may use Purchase Order option feature since it is not allowed to collect credit card information through the forms. Purchase order also works similar to the payment integration but doesn't collect any payment information.

You may also consider using the option in the payment field to authorize the payment but not actually charge the customer. This allows you to charge the customer later from the payment gateway interface.

Please note that the credit card information received through payment integration is always securely encrypted and only last 4 digits can be retrieved.

    Hope this information helps!

Just to confirm, if I don't ask for a password but only their desired user name, the form should be ok?

    Thanks!

Since your last reply is not connected to the original subject, I have moved it to a new thread here: http://www.jotform.com/answers/635424 where we will be answering it shortly.
