but i cant get it to do what we need, infact all i can get it to do is show or hide the item and a few font features, cant see how we can apply layout changes?

    a

ll we want is to be able to add a page break, so each header section starts on a new page...

    can i do this now

    with the editor?

also can you explain the automisation for the pdf editor? can the style be used acrooss all submissions or would an edit have to be made seperatley for each submission?

    regards

UPDATE: We are excited to announce that we have just released the new version of JotForm PDF Editor.

    Hi,

Thank you for your feedback, currently, there are quite a couple of options that is useful in the Customized PDF feature.

One is that you can now change the background color of each of the fields, aside from the font color and style.

You can easily change the layout by re-arranging the fields, you can drag and drop to how they can be displayed. Here's an example:

Now when you create a customized PDF design for your form, that will be implemented to all of the PDF submissions that that form will get.

Here's an example PDF submission that I got:

Regarding the page break, the editor pages are extensible and a new page is added when you get to the end of the current page, which can be achieved through a long field or an empty text field (Add Text). You can try adding a Text field for the Header and see how the page breaks work. But if you want, I can forward a feature request about this.

Do let us know if this helps.

if you mean keep adding empty text fields to push content donw that wont work unless the content is static... is this what you mean or do you mean a feature has been added that when you add an empty text field at the end of category content a new page will be started?

otherwise please raise a request as this is the feature we have needed/requested since day one!!!

the other features are irrelevant to us.

how long until the page break feature can be added?

    regards

    tony

I have submitted the pagebreak as a feature request on this thread http://www.jotform.com/answers/650965. Unfortunately, we can't provide you any time frame since we have a long list of feature requests on the pipeline. However, as soon as this is added, you will be informed on that thread. Thanks!
