We have two forms where I have enabled them to save and continue their forms later. Numerous customers are contacting me to let me know that when they click their "Link to Edit" from the link to edit email that they receive, the form is then blank.

this is a huge problem that continues to happen - what is the common denominator. I would really like to speak to someone with support on the phone. Is this possible?

Below is an example of a form where the customer completed the form and their data is not visible:

Please save this email! > > To edit your Metamora Combined Driving Event 2016 omnibus form, simply click > this link to pick up where you left off. WARNING! Data expires after four > weeks. > > http://form.jotform.us/form/51876878575175?session=Metamora Combined Driving > Event 2016

Looking at the edit links I do believe that they are broken because of the characters that you are using to build the session:

    http://form.jotform.us/form/51876878575175?session=MetamoraCombinedDriving>Event2016

My suggestion is to use email session instead.

The reason is that > is transformed into > and vice verse.

It might and probably has caused issues within email clients and even when requesting it over URL.

After you change it to be an email session, then would be able to access it without any issues.

Then another issue is that this is not the edit link - the session is active only until the form is submitted, so as soon as they make a submission, they can not longer use it.

I think that the guides will help you see the difference between the two with the screenshots so here they are:

    1. For session to continue later: How to Save Forms to Continue Later

    2. For edit link: How to Let Users Update Their Form Submissions at a Later Date

Do let us know of course if you happen to have any further issues or questions and we would be happy to assist with them.
