5.) Zoom level - It would also be helpful if the form designer had a parameter that sets the default zoom level for the map that displays in the widget.  I'd like it to zoom in to level 11 or so, (Google zoom level z=11).

    Hi,

Currently, I believe the zoom level adjusts depending on the address or location typed in the Address Map Locator widget.

Example, if you input a state in the Address field, it will show the appropriate zoom level to cover the actual address. Here, I input "Texas, United States"

Another example, I input "Texas City Independent School District, Texas City, TX, United States", it will set a different zoom level

If a default or fixed zoom level is set, then the user might have problems viewing it properly when typing the address?

If I misunderstood your concern or the specifics of the feature you are looking for, please do let us know, I can still forward this to our widget team to see if this is feasible.

    We'll wait for your response.

The widget uses location awareness, so when the page loads, the map already has a pin in the approximate location of the user, but not the precise street address in all cases.  It is this initial display zoom level that I'd like to preset.  The user can then drag the pin over top of their building, and populate the address field.

zoom level 11 would work for this.   I envision there being a parameter in the widget properties where the form designer can specify an initial zoom level when the page loads, and when access to location services are permitted.
