[Configurable List] Change value of input field when button clicked

    Hi good people of Jotform,

     

    Need some help with this.

    What i need: I've tried every way, when i click on a button, Add Pet, my quantity select input field will update the value, show the increased number accordingly.

     

    I've tried jquery, js, onload, all kinds of functions but just can't get it to work.

    I suspected it is because the javascript ran before the configurable DOM elements are loaded. But its not working.

     

    Help please!

    Hi,

    Currently this is not possible. Since widget is in iFrame using JQuery is somewhat difficult. I have search our record and found another post similar to yours.

    As you will notice, my colleague, Abajan,  added a new field that displays the number of rows added.

    Only workaround you can use is to create your form with using fields like Radio Button, Checkbox, TextBox, Dropdown or Text Area which can be used inside of Calculation Widget. 

    We already created a feature request for this so that our developers can take a look if they can create feature for calculations based on configurable list widget.

    Dear Victor,

     

    Thank you for your help.

    But i think there's a way to access iFrame elements and get the value just like how we get elements from DOM.

     

    I am wondering if any of your team members can assist with this?

    I think it'll be really cool if by clicking "add", the quantity box increments accordingly.

     

    I am thinking javascript/jquery is the way to go for this but really need some experts from Jotforms to help me. Thanks!!! Love your product.

    Hi,

     

    Unfortunately, I think it is not possible at the moment because of the web restrictions such as the same-origin-policy. The widget's URL is from widgets.jotform.io. But as my colleague, Victor has stated, a feature request has been created for making calculations in configurable list widget so that our development team can work on some appropriate updates on the widget.
