Conditional logic to hide/show fields is not working

    Hi guys,

For some reason the behavior of the conditions is not working 100% over here as well.

My colleague made two forms with the show/hide condition last summer which both works fine. For the client of ours we need to adjust the data in the form (it's a year calendar with seminars) for 2016.

I have made a duplicate of that form to edit the data (in case of something goes wrong..). Since there are the same number of seminars I am able to edit the text. I however wanted to change the order and after relocating a field it somehow disconnected the conditions. The show/hide did not work anymore for the field that I have changed in order. It refuses to 'show', but is still stated in the conditions.

In the end I have deleted all of the conditions and made them from scratch. This resulted into no show/hide for all of those fields. I even tried making the fields form scratch (perhaps the ID was bugged), but with every new condition that is added, it does not work. I had my colleague to support me, but he does not see anything weird. His only comment was that the edit environtment of the conditions was changed/updated. Is there a bug with the update?

I have haggardly solved it by duplicating the old form again and changed the text, but I am worried if I need to add an extra field with a show/hide condition (which will be needed in the future). I have tested the page with three different browsers (Chrome, FireFox and Safari) and two computers (Mac and PC). Sadly I am not allowed to share the page due of secret data.

Does this sounds familiar? Is there anything I could do to prevent this 'bug'? Please let me know :-).

    Thank in advance!

    Regards,
    Melvin

Sorry for inconvenience this may caused you.

Today we had some issues with conditional logic to hide/show fields. Conditional logic was not working properly. Our developers have fix this issue and conditional logic to hide/show fields is now working. Please check conditions on your form and if they were made  in past 3 hours please recreate them.

If you have any other issues with conditions on your form please provide us ID of your form so that we can inspect your conditions.

Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.

    Hi Bjoanna,

Thank you for the reply. Everything is working like a charm today!
I have another question though. When the conditional logic was not working properly, was that only the part of creating it in Jotform or was the form itself also buggy for the visitors?

    Regards,
    Melvin

    Hello Melvin,

On behalf of my colleague, you are welcome. I am glad to know that conditions are working fine now.

Unfortunately for a little while the conditions were not working for visitors as well but it was resolved by our back end team.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

I am facing similar issues today. Can you please check if it is a problem on your side? It was working properly and suddenly stopped.
