My form submissions will not process, I am wondering if you can clear this up for me?
Asked by 1shotaust on January 30, 2012Page URL:Hi there,
My form is listed on my site, and also my facebook page. Both based off the same base form.
The URL's are as follows:
http://www.1shotaustralia.com/orderonline.htm
http://www.facebook.com/oneshotaustralia?sk=app_176217385757369
I can get all the way through the form no problems but then when I want to submit it, I cannot get it to process, this has been an ongoing problem, sometimes it will work, sometimes it wont, can you also recommend the best browser for the jotform forms.
Thanks in advance,
Wayne.

Answered by fxr on January 30, 2012Hello Wayne,
I notice your form on http://www.1shotaustralia.com/orderonline.htm is using a secure URL for its embedded JotForm form.
We have had a few issues with our SSL provider over the past couple of days which may explain the problems you have been suffering from. This issue has now been rectified. Are you able to do a few tests on your forms to ensure that they are now working correctly?

As regards web browsers, JotForm should work fine in any browser. The only possible issues are with very specific JotForm features on legacy IE browsers such as IE6 & IE7. The vast majority of our users forms' should be fine on any browser. I personally use Firefox & Chrome extensively while doing my work here at JotForm.

Answered by 1shotaust on January 30, 2012I have just tried to send in another submission as if i was a end user but no luck.
It seems to all process fine through the form feilds it just will not submit, and obviously this is the most important part of the form!!
Thanks again,
Wayne.

You have used the E-mail field quick tool for your Phone and Full Name fields. That is the reason why your form does not submit. Those fields are being validated as "email" fields but fails each time. Please note that the fields generated by Quick Tools aren't ordinary text boxes which you can freely change input types.
To solve this problem, just replace both fields with the appropriate field type. A simple text box will also do.
