Setting a limit for the number of submissions

I would like to sell tickets for a fundraising event is there a way of setting a limit of tickets that can be sold? on the forms.

You can actually limit the number of submissions. Your form will be disabled or turned off if the limit was reached. In this way, no one can purchase a new one. Please refer to this guide: How to Limit Submissions in a Form
