Thank you for your response. Very helpful. Can I used this for multiple
payments? Meaning someone gives me his credit card and I charge 3 monthly
    payments?

    Hello Mendelgoldberg,

Yes it is possible to achieve your requirement by configuring the payment question and listing the products under "Sell subscription". The following guide should help you:  http://www.jotform.com/help/166-How-to-setup-a-recurring-payment-option

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!

    Thank you

the link does not seem to be working properly. (the images are not showing up). I will explain what I need.

I run a summer camp business. I require all applicants to submit their credit cards when they enroll however I don't charge them until they are accepted. They also have an option to pay in multiple installments which many don't know they dates they will want charged till much later.

How can I do this with Jot-forms?

    Thank you

Unfortunately that kind of setup is not possible because per terms of use if you ask for credit card details on your form, your entire account should be suspended and this happens either through manual suspension or by our automated system.

You can only charge them with subscriptions (guide mentioned by my colleague above): How to setup a recurring payment option or alternatively you could setup payment authorization instead: How to Enable Payment Authorization

For your specific setup it would only be possible by using multiple forms - once that accept registration and then the next forms that are used to accept payments based on their selection.

You could set it up so that you get the link to the next form with the pre-defined values so that you contact them and send them this same link (so that you do not need to make it manually - in case you want to transfer some detail from form 1 to form 2.

Hope that this gives you a better insight into the options, but if you have any questions, just let us know :)

Sorry. I don't fully understand. Does Jotfomrs have the capability for me to be able to charge multiple charges, each charge when I want to charge without the need to ask the customer to fill out a form each time I am ready to charge them? If yes how can i do this?

    Thank you

If you setup payment authorization, then the user filling out your for will authorize you to charge them later - without giving you their credit card details.

You can see more about the payment authorization here: How to Enable Payment Authorization

Other than that (to charge them at any point for anything), it would require you or us to hold the credit card details, which is not allowed per our terms of use and in which case it would not be possible to do.

Thank you. can i decide when to charge them on a latter date? Or they need to decide that?

You can decide the date - they just authorize the charge so that you can charge them at any point later on - for that charge, so no further confirmation or action should be needed from them.
