Feature Request for Filepicker Crop Tool to have Orientation option

    I would love to see this as well as a rotate function for filepicker's crop tool so that people could crop landscape or portrait photos within one of the aspect ratios you have set.

    I have submitted a request ticket to our higher team support for this.

    We will notify you here for any news/updates on the status of the feature.

    There are no updates as of yet.  Since this feature is not a very common request, I cannot say if or when it may be added.  However, if there is any progress, we will let you know via this thread.

    I know that I'm at least the third person that has asked for it. I know it may not be very common, but there are other people that want it and it seems very simple to do, if you check the documentation on filepicker.io about it.

    Yes, this is based on the amount of users requesting this feature, I will provide on the existing ticket a link with the information about this functionality, you should receive news about the progress on this feature as soon as we know it is available.

    As a 5+ year pro member it would really mean the world to me if for once you guys could actually do something I am asking you to do.  The thing I am asking you to do could be done quicker than you can respond to this forum. It just has to be done by jotform, I can't do it myself or I would.

    Do me a favor and go to my website here http://www.stretchandstaple.com/#!canvas-prints/c1fqx select portrait in the first step and try to upload a photo, you will see filepicker's beautiful uploader, but right now I have to have it set to unrestricted cropping, but as you can see you must select a size first, so how are you suppose to know where to crop your photo in relation to the print? Oh I know, I could use the aspect ratios that are integrated into jotform's filepicker widget, but if I set those without a rotate function you will be forced to crop a photo that you want to be a portrait as a landscape.

    If you will entertain me and do this I think you will understand my sense of urgency for this implementation.

    FYI. This isn't a startup, this is a website that has over 2000 unique visitors a month and that uploader is being used 5-10 times per day, with multiple compalints per day.

    I did some checks, we didn't receive any updates regarding this feature request. As my colleagues said previously, feature requests depend on how many requests we have for specific feature from different users.

    I did check your website and I understand your request, but we just have to wait for response from our developers on this request.

    We'll let you know as soon as we receive any update.

    Thank you for your feedback.

    @stretchandstaple,

    I think there are no updates since the widget is not available anymore, it has been removed from our widgets list, if you have forms already integrated with FilePicker they will still work and you can still use the widget by cloning a form with the existing widget.

    But unfortunately, this feature will not be applied.
