Mandrill & Mail Chimp

    I received the recent email from the Mandrill team informing me of the upcoming changes regarding the requirement of a monthly paid Mail Chimp account. Just to be clear, as a client of Jotform, am I automatically a client of Mandrill? And am I required to make these changes? I ask because I currently have a monthly paid Constant Contact account.

    Thank you, and I look forward to hearing back from you!

    As a JotForm user you are not automatically a Mandrill user.  We have many users who use Mandrill to send their email notifications:

    And those users have have Free accounts, would indeed need to purchase a subscription in order to continue using Mandrill to send their notifications.  They could also switch to using our services to send their notifications by changing the sender email on their notifications to "noreply@jotform.com", rather than using Mandrill SMTP.  Emails sent from that address are sent via Amazon SES, we do not have any affiliation with Mail Chimp/Mandrill.

    Is there a free alternative to now having to pay for a mailchimp account and still
    use my smtp server?

    Thanks

    @digichef

    I have moved that question on a separate thread here http://www.jotform.com/answers/782973. We'll be on this thread shortly.
