We want to make a new form out of the new clone

If you wish to make changes to the clone, you should have the same form opened in your account right after the cloning.

That would allow you to change it as you wish.

If you wish however, you could create another clone of your new clone.

Thank you but I want to be able to edit the clone not create a new one and the video is for creating one.

You can edit your form through the Form Builder page after you have clicked the Edit Form option of the selected form from the MyForms page.

I suppose you already have made a clone version of a from, here's how you can edit it:
