Jotform won't let me add my name into the field boxes

I have created a contract. I want to put my name, email, address phone...in the form. I can put these items on the form but it won't let me type in the boxes.

I have also added this same info for my client to enter their info. When I email it to them will they be able to type in the boxes?

While you are in the form builder page, you really cannot enter texts in the fields on edit mode. You can Preview it, however, to test the form fields.

When you email your clients the link to your form and they click it, the form will load and they will be able to fill in the fields.
