Shorten Your Forms Using Facebook Profile Info

We are happy to announce our new feature: Facebook Integrated Forms
So, what does a Facebook Integrated form look like? Click here to see and try a live example form.
Facebook Integrated Forms have many advantages:
1. Shorter Forms
People hate long forms. Making your forms shorter will increase the number of responses. Many people will take a look at your form and click on the Back button. Don't bore your users with details. Make your forms short and sweet.

2. Authenticate and Validate
Quality of your form responses will be higher. When someone posts a form with their Facebook account, it is more like meeting someone face to face. They are more likely to provide correct responses and don't say anything they would not have said face to face.
If you are doing a some kind of give-away making sure each entry is unique may not be easy. Facebook integration would be a perfect filter for such form.
3. Get Current Location, Facebook User ID and Profile Picture
Some forms may require user location to be entered. Facebook already has this information. So, why not use it? If you need Facebook ID or profile pictures, no problem, Facebook has it.

So, I am sold! How do I Use Facebook Integrated Forms?
To create your first facebook integrated form, visit this page and click on Create Your Fit Form Now button. Then complete the wizard.
If you would like to enable Facebook integration on an existing form, open it in the form editor and then click on Facebook Integration button under Setup & Embed toolbar.

Simply follow the wizard. It will walk you through with simple instructions and screenshots. We have made it fool proof since you will need to create a Facebook Application, and that can get pretty hairy.
Once you are done creating the form, simply copy and paste the embed code to your web site, and you are done.
Give it a try now! If you have any problems or any questions please feel free to post it in the comments below.

Sounds great, though I think it is not very useful for our niche at CatLovingCare.com where we offer placement in our Cat book publications, since most FB members have accounts for their pets with age and data of pet rather of the human owner... lol.

What about users who complete the form who are not part of Facebook? Can we have a separate Submit button on the same form?

I like this, it prevents the customers from repetitive data entry, I have one query though, does this auto fill query entry fields in my original form, i.e by clicking sign in with Facebook the data is immediately transferred on to relevant fields in my form, would be nifty to have that, and interestingly, I saw the new icon prior to the popup, it does sit there, no close option, but well I have given feedback and I hope it does not make the jotform staff grumpy, last time I asked a simple question, I got a rather cross response...

I made a Facebook integration form and embedded in iFrame to display it on my own domain. As well as browsers, both iOS and Android platforms can function without any problem. What a great experience!
